Maximum GP2 Storage Limit 20TB per region
Be warned, you may run into a storage limit when attempting to provision an EBS volume. The limits are set on a combination of volume type and region. If you hit the limit, you’ll just have to contact AWS support to have them increase your limit.
When in doubt, check the EBS limits.
